We were delighted when we got the call to be apart of the Aldi Play Rugby initiative.
Aldi Play Rugby is a national IRFU initiative that encourages a healthier way of life, for children to be active, participate and learn new skills. Over 100,000 of Ireland’s young Athletes took part in 2018.
With several events running from Spring to Summer, we were contracted to provide production support for the overall set up and on-site branding of each event.
With a team of three we hit the road covering events in all four provinces.
Every unique venue brought unique challenges for the team. Harsh weather conditions and poor accessibility were just some of the challenges faced by the crew.
As this is an event tailored to the future of Irish rugby, all crew had to take maximum safety initiatives and ensure protocol was being followed for the young people at each event.
